The first reason that I think that our first STN practice was great was because our team got along great. All five of us were friends before we started so it was really easy to get along. Nobody wanted to control the whole thing and every body was open to other teammates discussion. Even though it would of been easy to just goof off because we were friends, we all stayed on track to get our work finished.
We also finished on time. This might largely have been because of the first reason. We all worked together and that greatly increased the efficiency of the team. Some team members were even asking what they could do to help out even more. It stunned me how fast we were getting production done. Editing also went by smoothly. Dalson was the other editor with me and we both worked together to get it done quickly. I thought that the editing was fine. The only challenge that we had was the computer froze during exporting, but that got resolved quickly enough.
The only issue that we had was our idea was not top notch. It was hard coming up with a movie trailer idea for the topic the good lie. We thought about it for about forty minutes with everybody throwing in ideas but nobody really totally agreeing with them. Time was running by and we finally settled with an idea. It sounded pretty good, but it didn't really make that much sense. Next time, we will know more about what we should do so our idea will be better.
In conclusion, our first STN Practice was great. We had no team issues and we met the deadline. We could improve on the story of the movie trailer, but other than that, it was good. I can't wait till the next practice.
